Batch Pad

I've lived in my Pad for almost a week now and it feels like it's been about 4 hours... I realized that I'm just not home enough to get all settled and "used to" it just yet.

I got home last night, after a pleasant evening with the family at Josh and Jackie's lovely home and had nothing to do. Nothing! It was the strangest thing. I've been so busy with moving and two jobs and etc., that I just now finally had a night with nothing but me and my batch pad. It was a bit weird. I just walked around and looked at things and kind of digested my apartment. It was a strange experience to say the least. And then I played video games until the wee hours of the morning.

The sink and mirror part of my bathroom are actually in the hallway. The toilet and shower are the only things actually behind a door, much like a hotel. So after assembling the bed in its place in my room, I sat upon it to relax and looked out into the hall. I immediately noticed the problem. "That is not okay," I said, seeing that the extra large mirror was a straight shot from my bedroom. Angela laughed and said she knew I would say that.

I have a thing about mirrors. I am not a superstitious person, but because of stupid movies I watched as an impressionable youth and some underlying psychopathic qualities of mine, I do not like mirrors. I don't trust them. They're mischievous portals to the evil world of Satan... okay, not really, but... I... just... can't get past it for some reason. At any rate, I need it covered. I bought a curtain railing so all I need now is some curtains and someone with a drill. I don't remember the exact dimensions. I think 4x3 or 5x4 or I don't know but whatever the size, its been hard to find curtains that size.
